This position is responsible for Blueprints day-to-day operational effectiveness with a focus on aligning our core operational functionsFinance, Human Resources, Proposal Management, and our team of Associateswith the needs of our growing public sector advisory practice.This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our internal systems, resources, and infrastructure enable delivery excellence across all of our work. The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative leader who brings a strategic mindset, operational discipline, and a commitment to Blueprints mission of using data and evidence to solve complex public policy challenges and make life better for people across Canada.This is a unique opportunity for a collaborative, mission-driven leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, policy, and implementationand who is passionate about using data and evidence to maximize public value and improve outcomes for people across Canada.Key responsibilitiesStrategic Resource Management: Actively manage the resource allocation of our team of Associates to optimize utilization and ensure effective support for client engagements.Finance Oversight: Partner with finance leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, and develop dashboards and tools to manage business performance against our mission, objectives and targets and inform data-driven decision making.Human Resources Leadership: Collaborate with HR to develop and implement talent strategies, enhance employee engagement, and oversee workforce planning initiatives.Operational Excellence: Design, implement and manage operating systems and processes that drive efficiency, effectiveness, continuous improvement and innovation.Executive Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure business operations align with strategic goals. Lead the annual planning and budgeting process, contributing to organizational direction-setting and performance management.Business Development Support: Develop business development infrastructure and provide operational support to pipeline tracking, public sector procurement processes, proposal development and contract administration. Information Technology: Provide oversight and management of Blueprints IT systems and ensure systems are secure, enhance operational performance and support future growth.What were looking for10+ years of experience in operations, resource planning, or business management within a professional services or consulting firm.Experience working government and other public sector organizations, with an understanding of public sector procurement processes and vehicles in support of advisory services.
