Position Available: Form Carpenter Number of positions: 15 Start date: ASAP Job Type: Full time and permanent Salary: $35.00 with an overtime rate of $52.50 per hour for overtime after 40hours per week. Benefits : Extended Health and Dental Benefits. Job Description: Carpenters construct, erect, install, maintain and repair structures and components of structures made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. They read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. They measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. They build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. They fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware, maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
