Our client, a respected and well-established insurance provider in Alberta, is seeking an experienced actuary with specialized expertise in no-fault insurance rating. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to Albertas ongoing auto insurance reform. The client has a branch office in downtown Vancouver, and this role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement. Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Director of Actuarial on the no-fault insurance reform initiative Analyze insurance rates and rating procedures for both personal and commercial lines Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the executive management team Develop, maintain, and enhance effective rating systems Collect and analyze data to support the companys reinsurance program Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of actuarial experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry Proven experience with no-fault insurance rating (required) Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, R, and VBA ACAS or FCAS designation is an asset Willingness to travel occasionally to Edmonton as needed Benefits & Perks: Salary: $90,000 to $145,000 (flexible) Extra day off every 4 weeks Dental and medical benefits Hybrid opportunity in downtown Vancouver David Aplin & Associates Inc., operating as Aplin, and its associated brands, CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment, is an award-winning employment agency connecting diverse, top-tier talent with exceptional organizations across North America.
