Job summary The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods in a safe and timely manner to the required destination. This role includes inspecting the delivery vehicle, verifying shipments, and loading and unloading goods to be transported. Responsibilities: Load/unload products onto/from vehicle/truck. Transport merchandise to and from offsite warehouse. Ensure all items being delivered remain intact during transport and delivery. Maintain vehicle in good working order and bring any issues to the Service Manager. Keep detailed records of deliveries and any issues with the items being delivered. Communicate with warehouse and/or order desk. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations. Requirements / Skills Valid drivers licence for province of employment No experience is required!!! - We will provide all the training you need! Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays) Approachable Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions.
