Job Description The role of the Inside Sales Representative is to provide first class support to our customers at our office in Halifax, both on a technical and commercial level. Each Inside Sales Representative is assigned a specific clientele in order to know his or her customers well. You must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the subject matter and have good interpersonal skills. Our Inside Sales Representatives are considered important technical resources in the eyes of our customers. The candidate will report directly to the Branch Manager and work closely with our Outside Sales Representatives and customers. The Inside Sales Representative will follow procedures and work instructions and represent Everest in providing quality and reliable service to our customers. Responsibilities Establish customer needs Make quotations for conventional products Follow up on quotes delegated by the external representative Provide technical and commercial support to customers Keep up to date on products and services offered by Everest Automation Enter customer orders Follow-up on orders Make purchase orders for conventional products not in stock or at special prices with suppliers Qualifications : College degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering or a technical degree in an appropriate discipline with appropriate experience Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role Experience in sales and instrument selection Experience and desire to serve customers. Good knowledge of the Office suite.
