Our business is focused on enhancing scientific communication, medical education, and maintaining close relationships with key audiences to support the effectiveness of these activities.Primary Objective As the Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, reviewing, and supporting the organizations enterprise data architecture needs. Working closely with organizational and technology leadership, you will help provide scalable and innovative data solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and methodology knowledge to foster innovation and enhance data usability. You will also bring a deep understanding of all aspects of enterprise data management, including Data Architecture (DA), Data Engineering (DE), Data Management (DM), and Business Intelligence (BI).Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the technical delivery of data architecture deliverables for the organization, including data models and documentation.Collaborate with Application Development, Data Engineering, Data Management, and Business Intelligence teams to meet business objectives.Ensure new projects align with established business and technology architecture standards.Manage and extend current enterprise data models (both operational and dimensional) and related metadata.Support enterprise data governance, data quality, and master data management practices across the organization.Provide technical expertise to create a scalable and efficient enterprise data ecosystem.Act as a technical champion to promote continuous improvement in data architectural practices.Design the future state of data architecture for the organization.Work collaboratively with other technology teams (application, data, security) to ensure that business context and priorities inform technology decisions.Skills, Knowledge & RequirementsA degree in business, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field.8+ years of professional experience creating and supporting enterprise data models and data architecture solutions.3+ years of experience working with large, global teams.Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, digital advertising, and engagement data architecture is a strong asset.Proven track record of driving innovation and contributing to company growth.Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, data modeling standards (conceptual, logical, physical), and metadata management.Extensive experience with enterprise data ecosystems within cloud environments (AWS/Azure).Familiarity with working within a Snowflake environment.Proven experience creating and supporting enterprise data warehouses, master data management, and data lakes.Familiarity with modern distributed data technologies (Glue, Athena, Kinesis, Snowflake), and relational database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL).Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand complex systems and data.Experience working within an AWS environment and utilizing AWS technologies.Expertise in designing models for AI, BI, and ML applications.Proven ability to manage and prioritize workloads and roadmaps.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes without a formal position of authority.Self-starter, highly motivated, passionate, enthusiastic, and proactive with a 'can-do' attitude.Experience working in an Agile environment.
