This role involves performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of heavy-duty industrial vehicles in the field at mine sites and in our shop. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-focused, and experienced in working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on trucks.Key Responsibilities:Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on industrial (wet/dry vacuums, roll-offs, high pressure pumps, pickup trucks, etc.)Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the field to minimize downtimeConduct scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspectionsRespond to emergency service calls in a timely and professional mannerMaintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory logs by using our fleet tracking software.Communicate effectively with dispatch, fleet supervisors, and drivers to coordinate repairsEnsure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and government regulationsAssist in training operators on basic vehicle checks and maintenance reportingRequirements:Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician LicenseClean and valid G drivers licenseAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Valid Vale/Norcat Training (is an asset)Proven experience with heavy-duty trucks, ideally in an industrial, waste, or transportation environmentStrong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematicsAbility to work independently in the field with minimal supervisionStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailFlexible schedule and willingness to be on-call for emergency repairsWorking Conditions:Field-based role with travel to various sites around SudburyWork in outdoor environments and in/around large service vehiclesExposure to noise, dirt, and waste materialsUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) requiredMay involve lifting heavy parts and working in tight spacesWhat We Offer:Competitive wages and benefits packageBoot allowance, tool allowanceCompany service vehicle, specialized tools, and uniforms providedOpportunities for overtime and career growthSupportive team environment focused on safety and reliabilityThis is more than a jobits your opportunity to be part of something bigger.
