You should be comfortable using tools and have a good understanding of how mechanical parts workKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assemble and build mechanical equipment using various toolsClean machines and replace parts as neededRead mechanical drawings and work ordersInspect and test equipment to make sure everything works correctlyDisassemble machines and prepare them for shipmentUse tools like drills and torque drivers to install mechanical componentsPerform safety and quality checks on finished productsUse forklifts and cranes to help with heavy lifting, if neededOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:At least 3 years of mechanical or electrical assembly experienceMillwright Certificate 339A is a plusKnowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic componentsExperience with assembling machinery and using tools like drills and torque driversAttention to detail and commitment to qualityAble to meet deadlines and work under pressureA team player with the ability to work independentlyPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands for tasksSome bending, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 pounds)Vision abilities like close vision, distance vision, and depth perception are requiredWe are an equal opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
