Our client, a newly established company under a well-known and respected construction group in North Vancouver, BC, specializes in Foundations, Ground Improvement, and Shoring. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee ground improvement land piling projects and contribute to the success of their growing team. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily operations of ground improvement projects, focusing on quality, safety, and timely delivery. Develop and monitor construction schedules, ensuring project adherence to timelines. Prepare and negotiate contracts, handling revisions and changes. Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to meet deadlines and manage schedules. Maintain job cost estimates, profit forecasts, and support accounting functions. Act as a liaison with clients, assisting in business development and efficient resource deployment. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and handle field assignments as required. Uphold Health, Safety & Environmental standards. Ideal Candidate Requirements: University degree or diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering. Registration with APEGBC or ASTTBC, or eligibility for registration. Minimum 7 years of project management experience, with expertise in geotechnical engineering. Proficiency in ground improvement techniques, foundations, earth-retaining structures, and driven piles. Strong contract management, scheduling, and financial management experience. Familiarity with obtaining government approvals and industry standards. Excellent project management, communication, and time management skills. Why this Firm?
