Title : Technician, Process Development Work Location : Thurso, Canada Production All Authentix employees are expected to embrace our Company values in the performance of their respective tasks and duties. The Technologist, Process Development will support scientists and engineers and be responsible for executing nano and micro-fabrication process steps including operating and maintaining production equipment and systems. Successful candidates will have a unique hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge nano-imprint lithography (NIL) systems, assisting in the development of new fabrication procedures or improving the previously developed process steps. Strong technical aptitude and high attention to details is required for this role. Assist the setup of systems and equipment on our processing lines Support the installation of new equipment and systems Complete detailed progress reports on the development of new processes and systems Analyze system and process performance and relay recommendations to the team for improvements Maintain and update documentation including SOPs, quality assurance, and technical specification documents Experience in large-scale printing, printed electronics, hologram manufacturing, or display manufacturing is considered an asset. Available to work overtime as required. Education The successful candidate will have a diploma or degree from a recognized program in a technical/engineering field. Technical The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail and ability to document processes and procedures. Experience with PLCs, and 2&3D design software programs will be considered an asset. Software Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Project, Teams, and Outlook. Experience with roll-to-roll machinery, industrial printing processes and experience working with UV/thermal curing resins. Bilingual in French and English is preferred for cross-functional work with our global offices.
