Responsibilities may also include reviewing driver qualifications, maintaining training records, and supporting drivers throughout their employment. As part of the Safety team, you will be cross-trained to ensure seamless driver integration and ongoing compliance. Strong ability to effectively and efficiently record information in a database Previous work experience with transport company is an asset Knowledge of MTO and DOT regulations is an asset Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Work experience in customer-service roles from the following industries is welcomed and appreciated: AZ driver, driver dispatch, licensing administrator, compliance officer. Lead in-class training and orientation sessions for new AZ drivers, ensuring a strong understanding of safety regulations, company policies, and best driving practices Conduct hands-on training, including vehicle inspections, hours-of-service compliance, and safe driving techniques Communication with drivers to obtain and provide information regarding driving records, driving qualifications, and work history Provides administrative support by conducting data entry of Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration (CVOR), CSA, E-Log, and various other information Ensure driver records in accordance with Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) and Department of Transportation (DOT) Conduct work history checks to verify accuracy, work ethic, and skill of driver applicants Provides advice, support, and tracking to drivers for the use and installation of Electronic Logs (E-Logs) This is a full-time, permanent role Work in office from 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday Submit your application online.
