For more information about our company, visit We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist with extensive experience in architectural design, technical drafting, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in translating architectural concepts into detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with building codes, and supporting construction projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities Preparation of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings from architectural and structural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. Develop architectural shop drawings and fabrication drawings with the coordination and management of technical project requirements. Coordinate with Architectural consultants to produce working drawings to meet project schedule and timelines. Prepares lot specific grading plans for permits and construction. Coordinates truss, floor, mechanical, and structural engineering drawings. Conducts periodic site reviews for conformity to plans. Resolving any outstanding issues that arise during fabrication, assembly, and installation process. Reviewing architectural, structural, mechanical drawings and IFC drawings of external architectural consultants for supplementing shop drawings. Working closely with the Project Manager in coordinating drawings in compliance with specifications and scope of work. Stays up to date on building techniques, building code, and regulations to ensure compliance, and advance building performance. Qualifications & Skills A minimum of Diploma or a Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years experience in architectural drafting and design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software. Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Experience working in commercial / industrial projects and familiarity with lean manufacturing processes will be considered a strong asset.
