The Senior Manager will perform financial planning and analysis; automating and/or building complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance, develop short and long range financial/operational forecasts, standardize and automate financial reports and work on ad hoc financial analysis and projects. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and business partnership, driving the core financial processes for the business. This includes annual operating plans/forecasts, P&Ls, monthly/quarterly business reviews, identify and quantify financial/operational risks and opportunities to the business, and drive ad-hoc business projects.Team ManagementProvide leadership, coaching and development to 3 direct reports: 2 Manager, 1 SFAEstablishing objectives and providing coaching in developing skills sets (including attention to detail, time management, excel modelling) to drive a high performing teamSupport future team growth/ expansion as needed (including the hiring of additional staff)Month/Quarter-end; Forecasting/BudgetingDrive financial planning cycle, including budgeting and forecasting for 3 business segmentsIn depth monthly analysis/forecast to drive key financial metrics and foster an environment of continuous optimizationWork with FP&A team and independently across the company to provide analysis and insight to key stakeholders, including company leadership, in core processes as well as on a project basis including profit opportunitiesBusiness PartneringPartner with Senior Leadership team to analyze and ensure metrics (KPIs) tracking to budgetPartner and coordinate with internal departments to define key priorities and targets for each business segmentSupport FP&A Director in future and post analysis in business decision making for overhead departments (including HR/ IT)Monthly presentations on landing of financials Reporting and Process Improvement Prepare reports and analysis in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, month-end reports,Drive internal process improvements and controls; continually identify opportunities for automation to allow the team to perform world-class analyticsCreate models, analysis and presentations that condense complex topics into actionable informationIdentify opportunities for process improvement and share best practices across the teamConduct ad-hoc analyses to provide insights into business performance and collaborate with stakeholders to understand financial implicationsLocation: Mississauga (hybrid)Job QualificationRequirements Post-Secondary Degree. Accounting designation (CPA) 6+ years FP&A experience1.5 -2+ years of Management experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all level of the organization. Strong leadership and influencing skills required to deliver various objectives in a de-centralized structure Capacity to build partnerships, work collaboratively and effectively communicate to diverse groups both within and external. Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information. Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite modules.
