Join us in shaping the future of insurance in Ontario. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Toronto, ON for a Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required, providing exceptional customer support, and ensuring customer satisfaction with our insurance solutions. Day-to-day tasks include addressing customer questions and concerns, handling policy information, processing claims, and maintaining a positive customer experience. Primary Objective/Duties of position: Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes Actively participate in training initiatives Participate in community marketing initiatives Qualifications Customer Service Representatives, Customer Service, and Customer Support skills Experience in ensuring Customer Satisfaction and enhancing Customer Experience: 3 years (preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin or Cantonese (preferred) Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities Previous experience in the insurance industry is a plus High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in a related field is beneficial RIBO License (preferred) Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Full-time Industries Insurance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at A-Z Insurance by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for Customer Service Representative roles.
