Role Overview Expert Scheduler: Utilize your expertise in Primavera P6 software to plan and schedule complex projects of over $50MM/year with multiyear duration. Project Controls Expert: Troubleshoot and make necessary changes to scheduling issues, demonstrating your strong leadership and facilitation skills. Clear Direction and Support: Provide clear direction and support to Project Execution personnel, ensuring project success. Interpret Business Issues: Use your problem-solving skills to interpret internal and external business issues and recommend best practices. Independent Work: Work independently, with guidance in complex situations, to identify innovative solutions. Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership skills and facilitate project success. On-Site Work: Expectation to be on site 3-4 days a week during construction, with some travel required within 100km of the Chatham office location. Driver''s Abstract Required: Must have a valid driver''s abstract as there is a requirement to travel to construction sites supported by the individual. Mileage and Expenses Reimbursed: All travel expenses will be reimbursed as incurred. Skills & Qualifications PMP Certification: Possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent experience. Engineering Education: Post-secondary education in Engineering, preferably with a P.Eng designation. Relevant Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years working experience, with at least 2 years in construction or project management. Project Impact Consideration: Capable of making sound judgments that consider project impact and effects of decision/solutions. Project Controls Expertise: Seen as an expert in Project Controls across the Major Project''s department. Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot specific controls issues related to scheduling and make applicable changes. Education & Experience Post-Secondary Education: Bachelor''s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. Certifications: PMP certification .
