Senior Financial Analyst / Assistant Controller- 6 monthsEmployment TypeContractLocationOrillia, OntarioApply SHARE THIS JOBJob Description:Reporting to the Controller the key responsibilities of this Senior Financial Analyst / Assistant Controller role include:- Support in Planning and Analysis assist the Controller in collecting data and preparing financial analysis for the FP&A process ie budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to provide decision support in strategic financial decision-making- Manufacturing Metrics, Cost Analysis and Inventory Management work with manufacturing personnel to capture and analyze KPIs and cost standards. Conduct physical inventories and monitor cycle count program- Financial Reporting and Compliance support preparation of Financial Statements in compliance with IFRS and GAAP- General Ledger and Account Management assist with the maintenance of the general ledge, manage accrued liabilities, prepaid expenses and depreciations schedules and account reconciliations- Contribute to mentoring and development of junior finance team membersTMGCTJob Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field- CPA Designation preferred- 3 + years of experience in financial reporting, modelling and KPI development- Manufacturing industry experience required- Strong knowledge and experience with ERP systems, working knowledge of SQL and Power BI- Advanced Excel skills a must- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills- Strong attention to detail and accuracyApply
