Senior A/V Solutions Engineer Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid 12 days/week in-office) Job Type: Full-time, PermanentA fast-growing digital media and signage company is looking for a Senior A/V Solutions Engineer to join its team. This role will support the Sales team in designing and delivering innovative A/V and digital signage solutions across North America. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a passion for transforming spaces through cutting-edge display technologies.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and mentor team members; review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and completeness.Design technical A/V solutions and architectures tailored to client needs.Create detailed documentation, including BOMs, technical diagrams, and configuration specs.Support the sales team with technical input on proposals, pricing, SOWs, and RFP responses.Act as the technical point of contact during sales calls and presentations.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate requirements into solution designs.Work closely with the implementation team to ensure installations meet design specifications.Provide on-site and remote technical expertise throughout the pre-sales and post-sales phases.Job Requirements:5+ years of experience in A/V design, operations, or field installation.Proficiency in tools like Autodesk, Microsoft Visio, or other schematic/visualization software.Hands-on experience with LED displays, video transport/playback systems, and content management platforms.Familiarity with mechanical mounting solutions and integration of multi-vendor systems.Industry certifications (e.g., Avixa CTS, CTS-D) and knowledge of IT networking (subnetting, VLANs) are strong assets.Must be willing to travel across North America as required.Successful candidates will be subject to a mandatory criminal background check.Key Competencies:Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.Highly organized with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company at the intersection of technology, design, and innovation.
