We are currently requesting resumes for the following position : Estimator Resume Due Date : Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 (5:00PM EST) Number of Vacancies : 1 Level : MP4 - up to $82/hr Duration : 24 Months Hours of work: 40 (this job might require the selected worker(s) to work more than 44 hours per week - please only submit candidates who are able to support the project work) Location : 1855 Energy Dr., Courtice (hybrid 2 days remote) Job Overview Provide Cost estimating services to the business units This includes understanding the scope of work, preparing detailed cost estimates, providing advise, guidance and direction on a wide range of projects (Civil/ Electriacl/ Mechanical/ l&C projects in a nuclear environment) Develop conceptual, preliminary and release-quality engineering and cost estimates. Develop project Basis of Estimate based on available information Develop project take-offs and equipment counts based upon the specification/ drawings and include safety and security factors for nuclear projects. Qualifications Requires estimate preparation experience of 5+ years. Requires experience associated with project estimate classification system. Requires experience in engineering and construction management concepts, methods and techniques. Requires experience in project design, construcation, rehabilitation, and modification to appreciate the spectrum of work situations surrounding major projects and in particular to generating facilitaties Requires an understanding of generating facility planning, engineering, construction and operating practices including costing and scheduling practices and the use of relevant software.
