Seal & Design Canada is a manufacturer and distributor of industrial sealing products to the automotive, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. We are currently seeking a highly motivated full-time professional who desires a position with growth to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Account Representative will provide world-class customer service and technical expertise to our diverse customer base in support of our company mission, sales targets, and margins. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs all account management duties including but not limited to order entry, responding to complaints and processing returns Calculates costs and offers quotations; follows up on open quotations Responds to technical questions; understands customer needs and requirements Grows existing customer relationships and maintains profit margins Generates new accounts by responding to inbound phone, email and website inquiries Maintains and manages internal data bases Sets up new customer parts Sources raw material and parts Communicates with vendors and completes purchase orders when necessary Communicates key information to other internal departments Supports outside sales team with special projects and other administrative tasks Observes safety and security procedures QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor''s Degree/College Diploma and one to two years related experience in business-to-business setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Technical aptitude Proficiency working in a computer supported environment with business software and Microsoft office programs Strong attention to detail Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow; able to multi-task Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities in a dynamic environment with enthusiasm Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as raw material yields, discounts and percentages Familiarity with PPAP and APQP processes a plus Ability to travel to the United States for business purposes BENEFITS & COMPENSATION: Full benefits package and RRSP program after 90-day probation period Salary based on experience Quarterly Bonuses granted for targets met The opportunity to shape the future yours and ours PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Continual use of hands; constant standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting Clear close vision and ability to identify and distinguish colors Ability to safely climb ladders/stairs Ability to function at a computer workstation for 8 hours per day Ability to carry up to 50 lbs.
