LeverageTek is actively seeking an HR Manager for a permanent / fulltime opportunity with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location Ottawa preferred, but open to Montreal, or Toronto Hybrid (3 days per week onsite) Key Tasks Lead and manage core HR programs including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and training. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with local employment laws and company standards. Support organizational change and development initiatives in line with business goals. Manage and mentor a team of HR professionals, ensuring consistent and effective delivery of HR services. Partner with leadership to address workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development. Facilitate performance review processes and support managers in delivering feedback and coaching. Coordinate and deliver training sessions on HR-related topics to improve organizational effectiveness. Monitor HR metrics and use data to inform decisions and improve processes. Key Qualifications Strong technical HR skills across key functional areas such as employee relations, performance management, compensation, and organizational development Experience working with enterprise-level HR management systems (HRMS) is strongly preferred Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments with a strong focus on growth and adaptability Qualifications Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters degree or HR certification an asset). Progressive HR experience, with recent experience in a leadership role. Knowledge of employment laws and best practices. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Comfortable working in both strategic and operational HR capacities.
