We are seeking a driven and curious Manager, Benefits and Pensions to join our team. This role will lead all benefit and pension plans for approximately 800 employees throughout Canada. The ideal candidate will ensure that our benefit programs remain competitive in the market, familiar and understood by employees, and properly administered. Oversee Canadian benefit and pension programs (administration, benchmarking, invoicing, renewals, system maintenance) with a focus on wellness and exceptional employee experience; Manage all communications-related activities: Maintain the internal employee communications website and create internal communications for various purposes; Responsible for design and development of benefit/pension policies and plans; Manage outsourced programs and vendor relationships; Partner with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders across multiple business platforms; Support organizations growth strategy in the context of acquisitions; Keep apprised of current market trends and best practices. At least 5 years experience working in a fast-paced HR department and experience managing a team. Familiarity / knowledge of benefits programs, pension administration and disability management A University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or in a related field Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint CHRP, CHRL or CEBS would be considered an asset Bilingualism would be considered an asset This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 4 days to perform most effectively.
