Role Overview Our client is seeking a motivated, collaborative, and strategic individual to join their team as a Regulatory, Environmental & Stakeholder Specialist based in Saskatoon, SK. This intermediate-level role will support the development and execution of energy project applications, environmental assessments, compliance programs, and stakeholder engagement initiativesparticularly in relation to Indigenous communities. The successful candidate will contribute to the management of regulatory and environmental requirements while working cross-functionally with subject matter experts and external partners. This is a Saskatoon-based role with occasional travel required. Key Responsibilities: Research, analyze, and advise on regulatory, environmental, and stakeholder issues related to major resource projects Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to manage permitting, approvals, and compliance requirements Assist with regulatory and stakeholder strategies for new project development and acquisitions Support regulatory applications, environmental assessments, and hearings as needed Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and Indigenous communities Provide guidance to project and field teams on regulatory requirements and compliance matters Manage and track project licenses, permits, and associated obligations Support the development of regulatory information management systems Monitor developments in regulations, environmental policy, and stakeholder expectations that could impact operations Qualifications and Competencies: Bachelors degree in a related field Minimum of 3 years experience in a regulatory, environmental, and/or stakeholder engagement capacity Familiarity with Canadian and/or provincial regulatory frameworks in the energy, mining, or pipeline sectors Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and regulatory tracking/reporting systems Self-starter with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and communication How to Apply To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter to by May 16th, 2025.
