JOB SUMMARY We are pleased to share details about The Bilingual Inside Sales Representative with one of our clients: a privately held company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of high-quality valves, fittings, strainers, gauges, and piping solutions. The Bilingual Inside Sales Representative reports to the Inside Sales Manager. This role requires a professional and collaborative team player with excellent communication, drive, attention to detail, and technical proficiency. As a Bilingual Sales Representative, you will manage customer requests and sell products and services primarily through phone and internet channels (chat, email, video conferencing). Listen to client and customers questions, concerns and provide technical answers and responses. Process customer quotes, orders, calculate project prices, handle returns and resolve complaints or issues. Respond and manage all incoming/outgoing customer phone calls, emails in a professional, timely manner. Provide customers with technical advice and solutions based upon product offerings. Maintain and improve quality results by following standards, recommending improved policies and procedures. Manage and organize detailed client and customer data by updating account information. Support management in a variety of administrative projects and tasks as needed. Special projects may include, but are not limited to, marketing mailings, customer surveys, trade show assistance, and follow-up. Proactively contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize customer service and sales support procedures. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a technical inside sales representative or equivalent client-facing experience with technical products in the process/manufacturing field, and with demonstrated success. Successful experience in customers accounts ongoing maintenance and service. Satisfying technical understanding of at least one of the following activities within the manufacturing field: wear-resistant products, instrumentation, valves, strainers, pumps, and fittings. Successful experience in customers accounts ongoing maintenance and service. Previous inside sales experience with manufacturing products (such as commercial valves, plastic fittings, strainers and gauges) to the commercial, and/or plumbing, and/or industrial, and/or oil and gas, and/or petrochemical, and/or municipal, and/or HVAC, and/or fire protection wholesalers, retailers, and OEM customers (An asset). Good technical level understanding of a few relevant products from at least two of the following brands: NIBCO, Webstone, LESSO, NCI, FLOW+, WGI, and SSI (An asset). Mechanical Engineering diploma and/or Bachelor''s Degree in Sales, and/or Business Development, and/or Instrumentation, and/or Fire Protection and Safety, and/or Manufacturing, and/or equivalent education/training/experience. Acceptable knowledge of the process/manufacturing field. Customer service experience in an inside sales position role in the valves & fittings industry is an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Accpac Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus Bilingual (English and French) Office and Warehouse environments Using a computer keyboard and mouse, as well as the phone, for extended periods.
