Career Opportunity in Opthalmology The Department of Surgery, Division of Ophthalmology is seeking a Locum Tenens replacement starting July 1st, 2025 until February 2026, with a possibility of an extension. The division of Ophthalmology in the Department of Surgery is a collaborative team of 10 Ophthalmologists who provide ophthalmic care in the Brampton/Etobicoke community. The selected ophthalmologist will provide emergent, urgent and acute care ophthalmology call coverage for Oslers emergency department, urgent care centre and inpatient units including NICU coverage for ROP screening. The selected candidate will have access to available OR resources. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees. Qualifications The candidate must have a certificate of registration to practise from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have fellowship in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population.
