Company Description Oakville Sight And Sound designs and installs luxury smart home automation and home theatre systems throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Specializing in Control 4 and Crestron systems, we aim to simplify the comfort and lifestyle of homes through user-friendly controls. Our services include lighting systems, shading systems, multiroom audio video systems, security, surveillance, and network monitoring to enhance home enjoyment and functionality. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in the Greater Toronto Area, ON, for a Senior Smart Home Automation - Residential AV Technician. The Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting smart home automation systems and residential audiovisual (AV) systems. Daily tasks include setting up and maintaining lighting, shading, audio, video conferencing systems, projectors, and ensuring all systems are integrated seamlessly. Qualifications Experience with Audio Visual (AV) Systems, Video Conferencing, and Projectors Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Knowledge of integrating and managing Lighting systems Strong understanding of Control 4 and Crestron systems Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Relevant certifications or training in smart home automation or AV technology are a plus Pay $70k - $120k a year and 4 day work weeks!
