Workrise is looking for a Project Control Coordinator for one of our Clients. This role will be based in Edmonton or Calgary. We would love for you to join our team!!! Key Responsibilities: Cost Control: Track project expenditures, forecast cost to completion, and manage cost variances. Budget Management: Work with project managers to develop and monitor project budgets. Scheduling: Support the development and monitoring of detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project. Reporting: Prepare regular financial and progress reports, including earned value analysis (EVA). Risk Management: Identify cost and schedule risks and assist in mitigation planning. Change Management: Track changes in scope and assess their impact on cost and schedule. Stakeholder Communication: Interface with engineers, procurement, and finance to ensure financial and schedule alignment. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma, degree, or equivalent training in construction, operations, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. Strong background in cost and scheduling controls for multi-discipline construction projects. Industrial construction experience, including exposure to engineering, procurement, contracting, execution, and commissioning phases. Basic understanding of pipeline and terminal operations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables). Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with Oracle or SAP systems. Experience with Power BI and/or EcoSys is a plus. Familiarity with Earned Value Management techniques preferred. Strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, planning, and leadership abilities. Team-oriented with a collaborative, service-focused approach.
