We are looking for a seasoned night shift maintenance technician who will work on preventive maintenance while leading and directing other junior technicians. In this role you will be responsible for:Resolve motor, pump, conveyor and hydraulic problems.Must have excellent mechanical background with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and issues.Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.Ensure high level technical support to lower-level technicians.Show expertise in working with team and independentlyComply with company safety guidelines and procedures.Repair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standards.Use hand tools like power tools and rigging equipmentAbility to Weld and use a cutting torch as necessaryHandle repairs and complete work order in a timely manner.Troubleshooting, including such areas as pneumatics, hydraulics, equipment and other related systems.Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.Adhere to company Health and Safety ProtocolsPlease Note that this position is a Night Shift Sunday-Thursday 10pm-7am, however at the beginning few weeks you will be on day shift until training is completed.RequirementMust be available to work overtime as needed.Must be a self-starter, work well with all levels, and be well organized.Must be able to operate man lifts and fork trucks.Good physical condition- must be able to lift 50lbsMust have 8000 hours and a certificate preferredProven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar roleAbility to fabricate parts using various tools and equipmentFamiliarity with welding techniques and boiler operationsStrong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
