Agilus is recruiting for a Sales Manager in the Steel industry in Edmonton, Alberta.The Sales Manager will be tasked with supervising team training, evaluating performance, and monitoring sales metrics.A typical day:Establish a routine for the Sales team to engage with customers consistentlyCollaborate with the central office to develop a pricing strategy.Monitor inventory levelsLead and motivate the sales teamDeveloping and implementing sales strategies as well as setting and achieving sales targets.Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities.Prepare and present weekly sales reports to management.Successful candidates will have:5+ years of sales experience plus at least 3+ years of management experienceExperience with reading and understanding Mill Test reports and Customer Specifications will be an assetExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsCollaborative and willing to coach the team as neededExcellent computer skillsA steel manufacturing background, experience in oil and gas (downstream), or Mill Test Report experience would be an assetOrganizing and multitasking, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsFlexible as travel is requiredWilling to learnTotal rewards:Permanent PositionAttractive benefits packageCar allowanceRRSP + Bonus eligibility10 vacation days + 5 flexible daysSalary Range: $110K - $128K (depending on experience)
