This positions primary purpose is to generate new business in Toronto and surrounding areas from your own network as well as our existing contacts and references. The ideal candidate is adept at communicating with architects and designers as well as contractors, end users, and homeowners.The position involves much more than sales; team members at Relative Space serve as flooring consultants, helping clients achieve their creative visions while identifying sound technical solutions. The processfrom initial business development and outreach, to forging personal connections with clients, and ultimately seeing projects come to fruitionis both rewarding and fulfilling.Responsibilities include:acquiring new clients via outreachengaging clients by learning about their flooring needs and directing them to appropriate solutionsrecording sales activity to report to sales managerevaluating projects to determine suitable productsparticipating in company events for clientsmonitoring projects in company CRMattending learning sessions by manufacturers to further knowledgeselfQualifications:Our target markets are the architecture, interior design, and constructionindustries. Experience working in any of those industries and a bachelor orassociate degree in a related field are major assets.
