What youll do: The Service Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and inspecting residential and commercial propane-related equipment. You will also be accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the service and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance. Install and service commercial propane containers and related equipment. This will include but is not limited to repairs of furnaces, air conditioners, tanks, and propane supply lines. Provide preventative maintenance solutions and scheduled maintenance to residential and commercial customers. The individual will also complete inspections on new installations. Maintain, request, and stock the service truck with inventory. Ensure all necessary parts, materials, supplies, and equipment are available to perform daily work orders and meet customer requests. Collaborate with the Service Coordinator and inform them of any successes, issues, or challenges encountered. Obtain their approval for overtime and submit hours worked on a timely basis bi-weekly. Provide exceptional customer service by promoting the company and its products and services positively and maintaining good customer relations. What you bring: Minimum Provincial G2 certificate required. Valid G driver''s license. Minimum of two (2) years experience. Sound technical knowledge of propane appliances, equipment, and plant operations. Good knowledge of TSSA Regulations. Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis. Regular exposure to outside elements (wind, snow, rain, etc.). Good communication skills. Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically the on-board truck computers/iPhone.
