BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER Grasslands Recruitment Specialists has been engaged to recruit a Branch Business Operations Manager for a progressive Crop Input dealer group in Northern Alberta, along the Peace River. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE BRANCH BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER As the Manager you will develop, manage, and implement the business plan and operating budget, retail audits, sales objectives and keep all invoicing and accounts receivable in accordance with company policy and direct all aspects of daily operations, including maintenance and repair of the facility to ensure safety, efficiency, and profitability. You will consult with customers, suppliers, management and other appropriate industry personnel to promote products and services and execute a culture of care and comply with all industry regulatory and EH&S standards. You will manage all aspects of human resources including hiring, performance management, coaching and discharging within company policy and regulatory compliance. AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY? Ideally 10+ years of progressively responsible agri-business experience, from the crop input/crop protection industry, or a similar agri-business provider such as agrifinance, equipment sales, and/or grain marketing. A minimum of 2+ years of leadership or staff management experience is required. A Certificate in Agriculture, Agri-Business Certificate, or equivalent post-secondary education (combinations of education and experience maybe considered) is also considered an asset. A track record in sales, marketing and branch management/budgeting is considered an asset as is a strong agronomic background. Must have a valid Canadian drivers license. READY TO MOVE FORWARD?
