Job Title

Hi! Our family is looking for a reliable and experienced nanny to care for our 2 boys, aged 2 and 4 years, part time - to match my nursing shift schedule. The hours would be approximately 8 am to 6 pm - varying days of the week and every second Saturday. My shifts change week to week so our needs for care would be different every week, however we do know our schedules well in advance and are willing to work with the candidate. We can commit to 30 hours a week, likely three 10 hour days. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with our boys and providing a safe and nurturing environment. We love to visit The Telus World of Science, RAM and playgroups. In addition to childcare, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and pet care will be part of the job duties. We have a 9 year old non shedding, good-natured dog. A little bit about our family, David works as a sales manager with hours that vary. I am a part time RN with 10 hour shifts, days and Saturdays. As a family we love to be outside, visiting playgrounds, going for walks and bike rides, camping, travelling. Applicants must have current CPR certification and previous experience working with children. Our 4 year old has been diagnosed with Autism, so we need someone that has experience in caring for kids with this diagnosis. In addition, our son will start half day kindergartens, so must have a driver''s license and vehicle to drop him off and pick him up. We are willing to offer a competitive wage for the right person.
