Your responsibilities will include:Field Surveying: Conduct precise land surveys using robotic total stations and Trimble 3D scanning technology to collect and measure data for Steelcons projects.Survey Documentation: Produce detailed maps, reports, and records from your surveys, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with engineering, project management, and construction teams to deliver timely and accurate survey data that supports project planning and execution.Data Analysis: Analyze survey data and provide actionable insights to ensure project accuracy and quality.Safety Compliance: Follow all safety processes and policies, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.What Were Looking For:Experience: Previous experience as a Surveyor or in a similar role, with a strong working knowledge of surveying equipment and survey data analysis.Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction engineering or a related field. Registration with the Association of Canada Lands Surveyors (ACLS) is an asset.Technical Skills: Proficiency with robotic total stations, Trimble 3D scanning, and CAD and other relevant surveying software. Knowledge of the limitations and use of standard surveying equipment.Mathematical Aptitude: Strong skills in math and problem-solving to accurately analyze data and measurements.Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently on multiple projects while ensuring accuracy.Organizational & Leadership Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
