Job Location: Winnipeg, ManitobaWage: $42.81/hour (Ticketed) + $2.00/hour night shift premium (if applicable) and additional premium for PLC certificationsShift: Night Continental (12 hour shifts)Job Details: Must be available to work Weekends and Overtime as needed Fast paced working environment High Emphasis on Team Work Continuous Improvement Mindset Manufacturing Equipment Troubleshooting Preventative Maintenance Corrective Maintenance Facility (Building) Maintenance Motor Control System Troubleshooting Relay Logic and Pneumatic Control Troubleshooting Previous Food Manufacturing Experience An Asset Mechanical or PLC Knowledge An Asset Job Responsibilities: Read equipment manuals and blueprints to successfully complete installations, troubleshooting and repairs Install, troubleshoot and maintain motors, motor control logic, photo eyes, automation field devices and pneumatic control systems General facility electrical system maintenance (120-600V Electrical Systems) Inspect and examine equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective components Proficient knowledge using tools such as Multi-meters and Insulation Testers to troubleshoot and identify electrical components in need of overhaul, maintenance or calibration Assemble equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize equipment safety, efficiency and reliability Complete Work Orders according to PM and CM schedules Comply with all applicable legislative and Bakery food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures Ensure that work area is clean of debris and hazards at all times Work in a safe manner in accordance with provincial and internal LOTO policy Perform other related duties as assigned or required The Ideal Candidate: Must possess a valid Red Seal Industrial Electrician ticket from a nationally accredited program. Minimum 5 years experience in a high speed manufacturing environment (Food manufacturing is highly preferred) High aptitude with Industrial Electrical systems (Required) Proven track record working with Multi-meters, Insulation Testers and Thermal Imaging equipment (Required) Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs Thrives in a team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Excel, Outlook) Focuses on continuous self-improvement Advanced PLC troubleshooting Additional Perks: Premiums for additional Certifications Dual Ticket Premium Annual Tool Allowance Annual Safety Boot Allowance Competitive Benefits and Pension Program Quarterly Bonus
