Permanent role, located in Halifax, NS.Job Description:Insight Global is looking to hire a Millwright to join one of our clients, a leading brewing company in Canada. In this role, your responsibilities can be categorized into three main areas including maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing, safety and compliance. Maintenance Tasks: Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment in a production environment. Troubleshooting and Repairing: Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including gearboxes, pumps, and specific beer packaging and brewing equipment (e.g., bottle and can filler, bottle labeler, palletizers, depalletizers, packers, beer centrifuge). Safety and Compliance: Follow plant safety, housekeeping, and food-production quality standards.Requirements: 2-3+ years of experience as an industrial mechanic or millwright Valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Experience in the industrial mechanic/millwright trade, especially in a production facility Willingness and ability to work shift work (days and nights), optional overtime, and optional holidaysCompensation:$40.39/hr (Unionized role) + full benefits packages Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
