OverviewThe Senior Account Development Representative educates clients on the science behind ergonomics while establishing new business and growing existing accounts. This is more than a sales job. Our award-winning ergonomic products change the way people work. You will target end-user accounts, dealerships and the architecture and design community. Humanscale focuses on innovation, sustainability, and design, allowing our team members to promote premier products that improve health, support movement and change lives one workstation at a time.Essential FunctionsEducating, marketing and selling the value of ergonomic workplace solutions to end-users, dealers, architects and designersMaintain appropriate sales activity levels at all times; minimum 10 sales appointments per weekAchieve and exceed revenue, profitability and product mix sales goalsDevelop business plan with management for weekly, monthly and quarterly strategic sales objectivesSet up product tests or demos for end-users as necessaryFacilitate presentations for prospective clientsCompleting sales activity & opportunity reports, sales order paperwork, installation assistance, and sales training as well as maintaining customer contact databaseServes as a liaison between customer service and the customer on shipment and quality mattersFacilitate dealer training sessions on ergonomics & Humanscale products to dealer sales repsLead strategic business and forecasting discussions with dealer principles to meet dealer sales goals, establish new accounts and grow existing customer salesEstablishing relationships and educating Architect & Design Firms on ergonomic workplace solutionsStrong understanding of all of Humanscales products and consulting services, including task seating, keyboard supports, flat panel monitor arms, task lighting, CPU holders and other ergonomic work toolsQualification Bachelor's degree in a related field requiredAt least 8+ years of outside sales experienceStrong communication skills with the ability to build relationshipsExcellent presentation skillsDependable transportation; a valid drivers license and auto-insurance if drivingBenefitsCompetitive base salaryMedical Benefits (Medical, Rx, Dental, Vision)EAPMedical DiscountsBasic Life and AD&DDependent lifeLong term disability (LTD)Ancillary BenefitsCritical Illness and Hospital InsuranceVoluntary, Spouse, and Child Life InsuranceEmployee Discount ProgramsRRSP/DPSPPaid time off (PTO days vary by province and 10 core holidays; additional statutory holidays depend on province)Company OverviewHumanscale is the premier designer and manufacturer of ergonomic products that improve health and comfort at work.
