Their main goal is to ensure the availability and consistent performance of various applications.We are looking for an experienced ETL developer that is seasoned in both the AWS suite of development tools and as a SQL Server Developer to handle database creation and load activities! As AWS Cloud developer you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of the AWS cloud environment and the SQL server configurations within itDuties and responsibilitiesDeveloping and implementing best practices for AWS applications.Create ETL jobs to ingest and move data within the AWS environment using GlueAutomation scripting within the environment using either Glue or CloudWatchManage SQL Server databasesConfigure and maintain database servers and processesMonitor system's health and performanceEnsure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and securityAnalyze, solve, and correct issues in real timeProvide suggestions for solutionsRefine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changesAssist developers with query tuning and schema refinementProvide support for critical production systemsPerform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hoursSQL Server Developer requirements and qualificationsAWS Cloud Experience2+ years experience with Cloud Services such as EMR, Lamba, Glue5+ years experience with python and pyspark.5 years of experience as a SQL Server developer or similar role, and familiar with T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PowerShell, C# .NET.3 years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)3 years of experience with backups, restores and recovery models3 years of experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL ServerExposure and understanding of DevOps/Continuous Integration (CI) tools and practices. This includes tools such as GIT and bitbucket.Strong expertise with one of the following: CDK or CloudFormation3 years of experience with Windows server, including Active DirectorySense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys successCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skillsStrong communication, product model, need to speak on items with their business model, Operating in an agile model for this project, extra check if they have agileBanking experience ideal
