Company DescriptionSlavia FC, a member of the Toronto Soccer Association (TSA) and Ontario Soccer Association (OSA), offers indoor and outdoor soccer programs. We provide both competitive and recreational opportunities for youth ages 4-14 in the Mississauga East and Etobicoke region of Ontario. Our mission is to foster a love for soccer and develop young athletes through comprehensive training and game experiences.Role DescriptionThis is a contract role for a Sports Content Creator is a perfect role for a freelancer who loves flexibility to create on and off the soccer field, at times interacting with young children. The individual will be tasked with creating engaging content related to our soccer programs and events. Responsibilities include generating written and multimedia content for social media, newsletters, and websites, conducting player and coach interviews, and covering live events and matches. This is a hybrid role where one is expected to come 4 times a month (once per week for 1 hr) to record and/or photograph content during soccer training and once per month a game with all editing to take place remotely. QualificationsProficiency in Content Creation, Writing, and Creative WritingExperience with Social Media Management and Digital MarketingSkills in Photography and Video Editing; experience with Veo Cam is a bonusStrong Research and Interpersonal Communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a youth team environmentKnowledge of soccer and past experience in sports media is a plusBachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related fieldCompensationRate per hour$500 retainer to start1 free seasonal child registration with our club (valued at $700-$1500)Sales incentive option also availableFor more information about the role, do not hesitate to send us an email at .
