Position Overview: The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day production and plant operations, coordinating and ensuring output and quality goals are met. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves leadership role, not a desk job. We''re looking for someone who''s not afraid to walk the floor, solve problems in real time, and lead by example. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all production, maintenance, and logistics operations in the facility Lead a team of production staff Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in production output, safety, waste reduction, and efficiency Ensure safety policies are strictly followed and coach teams on best practices Collaborate with HR and supervisors on hiring, training, discipline, and team development Manage scheduling, labor planning, and resource allocation to meet production targets Work closely with Quality and Engineering to ensure product consistency and resolve process issues Lead daily operations meetings and provide clear communication between shifts and departments Identify process bottlenecks and lead lean or continuous improvement projects Ensure compliance with OSHA, company policies, and plant protocols Qualifications: 5+ years in manufacturing or industrial operations, with at least 3 years in a management role Fluency in French and English is required Strong background in high-volume production (tire, rubber, automotive, or similar industries preferred) Track record of success managing people, processes, and production schedules Comfortable with both strategic planning and hands-on problem-solving Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, OSHA safety regulations, and production reporting tools Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or trade certification preferred What We Offer Competitive base salary Company sponsored benefits RRSP/DPSP Contributions How To Apply This is more than a job-it''s your opportunity to be part of something bigger.
