Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transmission Lines Engineer with a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and a strong background in utility-scale projects within Ontario. This is a key role and the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, review, and execution of overhead high-voltage transmission line projects.ResponsibilitiesLead and support the design of overhead transmission line projects (44kV to 500kV).Conduct structural analysis and PLS-CADD modeling for new and existing transmission corridors.Prepare engineering drawings, design packages, and technical reports for utility clients.Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget from engineering through to construction.Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal project teams to ensure technical excellence.Review contractor submittals, respond to RFIs, and support field construction activities as needed.Ensure compliance with Hydro One standards, CSA codes, and provincial safety regulations.Skills and QualificationsLicensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.Minimum 7 years of experience in transmission line design and utility engineering.Proficient in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and other line design software.Strong understanding of Hydro One design standards and Ontario electrical utility.
