This individual will take the lead with translations and content for Francophone members, a perfect opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of their role as a key collaborator.Company Perks and RewardsCompetitive compensationAnnual incentive plan/bonusExtensive employee benefitsCollaborative company cultureEducation/tuition reimbursementClose to the Yonge/Bloor TTC stationHybrid work model (3 days in office)and more!The Job!Reporting the Manager of Public Relations and the VP of Public/Member Communications, you will:Oversee the development, creation, and enhancement of French-language communication materialsSupport the coordination and management of the project calendar, including events, communications, and related activitiesDevelop and prepare advertising, social media, and website content for publication and distributionProvide strategic advice and insights to guide communications planning and ensure effective executionReview and edit content to identify and correct errors, inaccuracies, and other concernsManage the translation process between English and French, ensuring accuracy and consistencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams on projects aligned with organizational objectivesEnsure the organization’s key messaging is consistently reflected across brand, services, and public relations initiativesLead projects and campaigns, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budgetFoster and maintain relationships with French-speaking members, consultants, and stakeholdersServe as a subject matter expert for French-language content and communicationsAdvise on best practices, requirements, and strategies for bilingual communication initiativesContribute to operational planning and uphold organizational standards and protocolsPerform other duties and support additional projects as neededWhat you bring to the jobTo excel in this role, the ideal candidate is a strong collaborator, self-starter, and an experienced professional in communications and public relations with a keen interest in continuous learning. You are bilingual, fluent in both English and French, and aware of how to best communicate with French-speakers especially those based in Quebec, Canada. You also have:Completed post-secondary education in communications, marketing, and/or public relationsAt least 3 years of experience in communications and public relations in a corporate environmentProficiency in both English and Quebecois French, including translation skill and experienceExceptional communication skills, written and verbal, appropriate for all professional audiencesStrong teamwork, interpersonal skills, collaboration, and relationship managementExcellent project management skills and ability to contribute to strategy developmentExperience with content management systems, social media reporting, and design software is preferredAble to travel to support and attend various events across CanadaQualified job seekers are asked to apply with attention to Rhiannon Bodman.
