We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Bilingual Communications Associate to join our Marketing & Sales Enablement team.As the Bilingual Communications Associate, you will be responsible for managing all of RPIA’s French content, both externally and internally to ensure compliance with Bill-96 requirements and to offer a seamless experience for our Francophone audiences. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Sales Enablement, you will ensure the accuracy and compliance of our French marketing materials and internal communications through strong language skills. This role is instrumental in fostering strong relationships with investors based in Quebec and in ensuring RPIA is compliant with all applicable regulations.The duties and responsibilities of the Bilingual Communications Associate include but are not limited to:Proofreading Translations: Prepares and proofreads translated material from our translation vendor for all client communications, including blog posts, brochures, slide decks, publications, whitepapers, scheduled and ad-hoc website updates, etc.Bilingual Internal Communications: Collaborates with the internal teams as well as leadership to prepare bilingual internal communications in French and English as needed. Supports the translation of internal policies.Maintaining French Webpages: Maintains the French language website and client portal as new content and messaging is produced.Bilingual Investor Reporting: Coordinates with Risk & Analytics and Client Relations teams to produce investor reporting in French.Project Management: Coordinates with team members within Marketing and Sales for the complete content creation process, including producing new content, translating, proofreading and publishing.Graphic Design: Updates prepared templates for French versions of brochures, standard slide decks, whitepapers, and publications.Email Marketing: Manages French email templates and distribution for all our email marketing and client servicing needs.Bill-96 Compliance: Ensures that RPIA is compliant with Bill-96 requirements.Other duties: Completes other communications and translation needs that arise. Critical CompetenciesFrench Fluency – Strong proficiency in reading, writing, and editing French materials with the ability to understand and convey business language and technical financial and credit market terms.Communication – Share information and ideas effectively in both French and English with accuracy. Able to translate not just the words but also the true meaning of the content from English to French.Grammar and Storytelling – An excellent communicator with a firm command of written communication to translate from English to French and to proofread translated materials to ensure good grammar and adherence to source material.Collaboration – Strong aptitude for working collaboratively with business partners and both internal and external stakeholders. Brings a spirit of collaboration with the ability to maintain strong working relationships with peers and leaders within the organization.Attention to Detail – Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and high standards for our French content.
