About this team The Global Packaging and Labelling team is responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, and producing end-to-end packaging and labels. We work in close partnership with cross-functional teams across the business and partners throughout supply chain. We meet the needs of our product, guests, markets and channels in order to achieve our strategic priorities and business goals. We ensure packaging and labelling materials are production ready and support successful product delivery. A day in the life The Packaging Production team creates and manages all packaging production artwork templates, files, and specifications. In partnership with Packaging Design, Development, and Operations we bring a high level of technical accuracy, efficiency, and attention-to-detail to the work in order to ensure world-class creative execution. The Multilingual Production Designer (Simplified & Traditional Chinese) role supports the creation of Chinese language packaging production artwork for our China and APAC markets. The candidate must have a strong background in production design and a proven ability in work effectively with Chinese and English content. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Design, Localization, and Copy. Key Responsibilities Create and/or adapt production artwork for Simplified & Traditional Chinese languages (mostly Simplified Chinese) Review production artwork with design, development, copy, and localization teams for approval. Support multilingual artwork proofing with copy and localization partners prior to bulk production Maintain digital technical tools such as Adobe libraries and server file management Support management with resource planning Escalate and action potential process and/or technical improvements in order to increase efficiency and accuracy Support the creative and production brief development process as needed Support the creation of multilingual artwork guidelines as needed Support external partners such as creative agencies and production vendors with defining production specifications and capabilities, and file building methodology, to ensure producibility. Qualifications Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Bachelors degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Production Design, Visual Communication, or similar education 5+ years experience in Production Design and Print Production Breadth of experience with developing a variety of assets for print production (packaging, collateral, signage, advertising, etc...) Expert understanding of typography, layout design, and nuances of multilingual content. Expert level technical expertise w/ Adobe suite Experience coordinating with production vendors Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
