VP EstimatingEtobicoke$150 250KWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Estimating to lead the estimating department for one of our clients. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing all estimating functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with project goals. The VP will work closely with project managers, operations, and executive leadership to drive cost-effective solutions and improve bid success rates.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the estimating team, promoting collaboration and high performanceOversee the preparation of accurate and competitive project estimatesReview drawings, specifications, and scopes to assess risks and identify cost-saving opportunitiesPartner with internal teams to ensure estimates reflect project objectives and timelinesImplement and refine estimating tools, processes, and best practicesMonitor market trends and pricing to maintain competitive edgeSupport strategic planning with forecasting and cost analysisQualificationsExtensive experience in roofing estimating and cost controlStrong background in budgeting and project managementSolid knowledge of construction industry standards and practicesProven leadership and team development skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesClear, confident communication and stakeholder management skillsBachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
