The Opportunity:The Assistant Brand Marketing Manager leads development of 360 strategy and execution of global marketing programs for the Canada market. This is achieved by collaborating closely with cross-functional business partners to build strategy briefs, communication plans, and toolkits for campaigns across multi-platform consumer engagement programs. This position aids in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies in partnership with Global HQ, including all promotional activities and product launches.What youll get to do:Marketing Execution:Execute and develop localized brand building plans in line with division objectives, including 3-year marketing plans, new product launches, promotions, and communication strategiesManage P&L and execution of 360 marketing plans for each brand, encompassing above-the-line and below-the-line activities, launch calendars, promotional plans, and media implementationPresent seasonal programs to retail partners and propose new product and promotional ideasCollaborate with internal and global teams to ensure business success, including sales, retail, education, demand planning, operations, and financeResponsible for brand/product strategy and promotional calendar growthMonitor and analyze business results to recommend improvement opportunitiesPrepare and deliver presentations for senior management meetingsEnsure partnership with cross-functional teams for in-store, online, social/digital, and media activationsCommunication:Contribute to creating brand PR and Influencer Marketing strategiesOwn projects including campaigns, playbooks & guidelines, and deliver relevant content for in-country executionWork with communications team on press releases, digital press releases, editorial and beauty visuals, and spokesperson identificationMeet with influencers and external partners during eventsBuild measurement into plans for benchmarking success and gaining insightsDevelop breakthrough activation strategies across channels with cross-functional teamsManage and track cross-functional inputs into go-to-market deliverables, ensuring cohesive strategy and timely deliveryFoster a consumer-focused mindset aware of competition/channel influencesAnalytics:Actively monitor and manage investments in POS materials and animations, analyzing ROI/profitability and proposing improvementsConduct brand and market analysis, recommending strategic decisions based on insightsForecast seasonal POS materials, new launches, and animation materialsManage product stock levels, controlling inventory and forecastsConduct market research, follow up on campaigns and launches, and provide regular quantitative and qualitative reports to Senior ManagementMonitor category, competitive landscape, and consumer trends to inform strategic interventionsPrepare documents for executive category reviews and support the use of data and analytics throughout the functionWed love to meet you if you haveBachelors degree (preferred) in marketing or related field3-5 years brand marketing experience and beauty industry-related experience requiredSuperb analytical skills with the ability to communicate key insights, and translate findings into actionable business strategiesStrong execution, leadership and consensus building/decision making skillsMicrosoft office knowledge with strong PowerPoint, and Excel skillsCompensation:As required by Canada's salary transparency law, Working for Workers Four Act 2024, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000- $85,000 annually CAD. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
