Job DescriptionPeakhill Capital is a commercial real estate capital provider with mortgage investments across all real estate asset classes in Canada. Our equity platform (Peakhill Equity Partners) is an opportunistic equity platform focused on investments in ground up and value-add projects in Canada and the United States.We are seeking a self-motivated Associate, Investor Relations to support our client service and capital formation objectives. This is in-person role, based in our Toronto office, and requires excellent analytical and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and an interest in private markets investing. The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful team player who is organized and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize and take ownership of a variety of projects.Key Responsibilities: Lead the start-to-end onboarding process for new investors, including document collection, compliance checks, KYC coordination, subscription agreements and investor portal setup. Track incoming capital, maintain accurate records of new investments and complete filings in accordance with the Ontario Securities CommissionCoordinate with fund administrator and accounting for month-end reviews and investor statement accuracy.Serve as a point of contact for investor inquiries and communications.Ensure timely monthly and quarterly updates to the investor data room and reporting platforms.Assist in the timely completion of due diligence questionnaires from prospective and current investors.Qualifications:Undergraduate degree in business or finance with an excellent academic background2-4 years of relevant work experience in investor relations, investment banking, accounting, or at an asset management firm specializing in infrastructure, real estate, and/or private equity funds, or experience working with institutional investorsSelf-starter and team player with positive, can-do attitudeStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented and resourcefulExcellent organizational skillsDemonstrated competence with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and OutlookExperience with Pipedrive or a similar CRM softwareFlexibility to travel, if required.
