Our client, a well established civil construction firm with operations across the Lower Mainland, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Surrey, BC. This individual will lead civil infrastructure projects, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall execution of civil construction projects from start to closeout, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and safety standards. Act as the primary client liaison, attending and leading project meetings and maintaining strong stakeholder communication. Review project documentation to develop and implement effective work plans. Procure materials and subcontractors, negotiate terms, and manage costs to meet project budgets. Manage all project administration, including contracts, permits, submittals, change orders, and invoicing. Track daily project progress and unit costs, identifying and addressing variances promptly. Conduct regular site visits, oversee subcontractor coordination, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Handle project closeout, including applications for substantial and total completion and related documentation. Ideal Candidate Requirements: 5+ years of project management experience in civil construction, including significant experience with underground wet utilities. Strong knowledge of project delivery, cost control, scheduling, and procurement. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts. Proficient with construction management software and MS Office Suite. Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Valid driver''s license and ability to travel across the Lower Mainland as needed. Why this Firm?
