Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our clients team, a leading Halal chicken processing manufacturing company with three operating divisions. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities across all divisions, helping drive business decisions and operational improvements. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What you will do Perform detailed financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making across all three divisions (e.g., Processing, Packaging, Distribution). Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and performance commentary. Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Analyze production costs, labour efficiencies, inventory valuations, and division-level profitability. Partner with Plant Managers, Operations Leaders, and Division Heads to provide financial insights and identify cost-saving opportunities. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each division and provide actionable recommendations. Assist in the preparation of board reports, management presentations, and operational reviews. Help maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures. Support capital expenditure (CAPEX) evaluations and post-investment reviews. Participate in ad-hoc projects and financial modeling for strategic initiatives. Assist with audits, both internal and external, as needed. What you will bring Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred but not required. 5+ years of experience in a financial analyst role, preferably in manufacturing or food processing. Strong understanding of standard cost accounting, manufacturing operations, and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and Business Management Solution: Business Central is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Prior experience in a multi-divisional organization. Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain finance. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment.
