The Investor Relations Associate, will be responsible for maintaining our exempt market private issuer regulatory compliance requirements of our Funds, maintaining our investor database, and overseeing the reporting that goes to our executive management group. Seeking a team member that has Investment Firm experience only. Key Accountability and Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to external dealing representatives and investors daily. Communicate with investors & internal stakeholders. Assist with and analyze quarterly distribution calculations, working with Fund transfer agent to coordinate the payment of quarterly distributions. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payment of distributions to investors. Prepare and analyze incoming redemption requests, working directly with dealer representatives to communicate investor impacts and the accurate calculation of net payouts. Gather and review investor subscription documents for monthly Fund capital raises. Working with dealer representatives to ensure completeness and accuracy of investor subscription documents as well as working with corporate lawyers to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies. Maintain the investor database in Exempt Edge. Ensuring the accurate uploading of investor information as well as working directly with the Fund transfer agent to verify investor data, distribution selections and account transactions. Participate and assist the investment team with the preparation of the annual offering memorandum. Coordinate and communicate with external investors and deal representatives, including responding to queries regarding investor relations. Create and document Standard Operating Procedures for new processes as they are developed. What are we looking for in a successful candidate? 2 - 3 years of experience in a real-estate investment administrative roles. Client focused and strong relationship building and interpersonal skills A keen eye for detail is a must Exempt Market Proficiency Course Canadian Securities Course Experience in Fund Administration preferably in Real Estate Some knowledge of hedge or mutual fund industry and concepts is preferred. Experience in Investor Relations, as it relates to a transfer agency environment is preferred. Knowledgeof exempt market investments is an asset Able to handle multiple demands and manage tight deadlines Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
