With over 100 beer brands in our portfolio Carlsberg sells beer in over 140 countries worldwide while producing beer under license in over 40 countries.Carlsberg Canada recently purchased Waterloo Brewing Ltd. so Carlsberg Canada includes the production, distribution and commercialization of Carlsberg and Waterloo products as well as various co-manufacturing partnerships.Role SummaryThe AP Associate will be responsible to process accounts payable in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.Hybrid: 3 days in the office/ 2 days from homeAccountabilities:Process accounts payable in a timely manner, specifically relating to inventory, supply chain, capital & maintenance. Gather payable invoices via email, postal mail, and vendor portals. Perform three-way match on PO-based invoices. Coordinate manual approval on invoices not requiring purchase orders. Evaluate invoice approvals & receiving paperwork to ensure compliance with internal policies & audit requirements. Prepare weekly payment batches. Work with internal stakeholders to resolve issues that prevent invoice processing. Communicate with vendors as necessary (vendor liaison) Carefully adhere to all company policies, especially those related to security and fraud prevention. Make routine accruals and other entries at month-end. Assist in gathering information for year-end and interim audits. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and with colleagues across the organization.Qualifications:2 years experience in Accounts Payable, specifically relating to inventory.Manufacturing experience mandatory.Post Secondary Education in Accounting or related field preferred. Organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. High level of attention to detail.Proficient in Excel.Experience with ERP accounting software, preferably MS Dynamics Business Central is an asset.Experience with SAP Concur is an asset.
